Predictable degradation
PDO hydrolyses within 6–8 months. A short active period means less overlap between repeat sessions.
Controlled size
10–50 µm (100) and 30–110 µm (200), within the range for a controlled response without phagocytosis of the particles.
Smooth, non-porous spheres
Uniform shape and a smooth surface for even distribution and predictable stimulation.
Balanced properties
PDO is more hydrophilic than PLLA and PCL, and soft and flexible at body temperature.
